Julia Slininger, RN, BS, CPHQ
Program Manager, Perinatal Mental Health Initiative
Ms. Slininger has more than 35 years of experience in healthcare Performance Improvement, Patient Safety, Risk Management, Infection Control, and Team Building- helping providers improve processes and outcomes. Facilitating peer-to-peer learning between healthcare teams, she has led several Collaboratives in the state of California, focused on a variety of goals including Patient Safety, Infection Prevention, Surgical Care Improvement, Readmissions Reduction and Team Communications.
In addition to Collaborative work, Ms. Slininger has helped several organizations in consultative partnerships, to improve Quality Management Programs. As a Master Trainer for the TeamSTEPPS® teamwork training program, Julia has presented workshops for over 100 hospitals, to improve multidisciplinary teamwork in the day-to-day patient care environment.
Ms. Slininger is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ). She received her undergraduate degree in Healthcare Management from the University of LaVerne, and her RN from the New York Regents University.
