At the Feb. 10 meeting, the HQI Board of Directors elected four new board members and extended the term for two members.
The following candidates were elected to the board:
- Adolphe Edward – Chief Executive Officer, El Centro Regional Medical Center
- Barbara Pelletreau – Senior Vice President, Patient Safety, Dignity Health
- Evelyn Schlosser – Executive Director of Quality, Southern California Region, Providence Health System
- Kevin Smothers – Chief Medical Executive, Sutter Medical Center
The board term was extended for Anne Marie Watkins, Chief Nurse Executive, Kaiser Permanente- San Diego and Zion Medical Centers. In addition, the board term was extended another year for William Isenberg, and he was elected to serve as HQI board chair — effective immediately after the conclusion of the Feb. 10 meeting.
